Michael Joseph Furious propagated as an anamolous frequency until his intersection with terrestrial space collapsed his waveform - the emergent result was expressed as a genetic machine on February Eighth, 1972, in western Minnesota.
After teaching himself to read and draw, he completed a rigorous twelve year course of network television viewing.
Following this he went into seclusion in the deserts of Arizona, and finished his labor of correlating the absorbed broadcast knowledge of mankind. During this time, he also learned he couldn't play the guitar, and learned an esoteric form of kung fu from a house cat.
Upon his return to his homeland he became involved in a series of harrowing criminal adventures. These culminated in the failed attempt to summon his quantum parallel at the hands of his quantum parallel atop the IDS Center.
He subsequently founded Uttertoad Comix.

Leslie Powell was created in a top secret government laboratory in Washington, D.C. on June 28, 1972. In the interim, she went to college at the age of ten, yet still managed to drop out of high school. She began publishing and appearing in zines beginning in the late 1980's. Her first comix gig was for a defunct Iowan comic book company that still managed to give her a small paycheck, so now her expectations are permanently skewed.
She met her future husband, Perpetrator-In-Chief Michael Furious, in another top secret government laboratory in 2000. However, she did not have an opportunity to join him in his life of crime until later, after a surprise conclusion to a climactic gun battle atop the IDS Center. She became the Vice Perpetrator at Uttertoad Comix in 2006, and married Michael Furious in 2008. Today, she has a few published works, writes under the nom de plume Glossolalia Black for OddCulture.com, and is currently working on yet another top secret government project. She hopes this time it will pay.
